Bear hunting.
We went for an afternoon drive to shoot some black bears. Camera only of course. Kinda rainy and very overcast so the bears were out in numbers for a fresh moist salad of greenery. We saw all sizes of bears from a hugable cub to a really really big one that scared the life out of us. Didn't get a pic of the big one as Lynda didn't think we would meet a bear in town and charging across the street to get away from the traffic and noise.
Anyways, here are a few pics of various bears and Lynda using a decent digital SLR with a nice zoom for close-ups. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Down here we go alligator hunting.
The last 2 pics are in Wakulla State Park where they made the Johnny Weismuller Tarzan movies and The Creature From the Black Lagoon. Lots of gators there. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Bear hunting.
Cool shots of the bears WW. I've never seen a shot of the ski jumps when they were not covered in snow. Cool pics all around. Looks like a nice outing. Glad the big bear didn't get you.
mrlmd1, I never knew that's where they filmed the old Tarzan movies, love those Cypress trees. I don't think I'd want to swim anywhere near that big lizard with teeth in your shot. |

Re: Bear hunting.
That sounds like a good start to a country music song.
