New GZ250 owner
Got my first bike a few days ago, had been looking at the GZ 250 at the local dealership for a few months, Finally got it. Bike rides well even for my size 6'7", 230 lbs. Hope to do a long ride this week around the back highways of Temecula, CA where I live. Look forward to all the info i am sure this forum will provide.

Welcome to the madhouse. You will be surprised at the abilities of the GZ once you have bonded and made friends. You might find the bike a bit cramped after a while but you can always change the bars and build up the seat a bit to fit better. Ride safe and above all have fun.

Re: New GZ250 owner
Hey marmar, you're about 50-60 miles from me. Once you get the hang of it, you're gonna want to take CA74 out to CA243 - one of the best rides in the world. Another good one near you is US76 out to Palomar (via South Grade.) Also Joshua Tree and Anza Borrego. And Ortega Highway. You are right in the middle of a lot of great riding.
Have fun. Perhaps we'll see eachother out in the boonies some day.
