Athens, GA newb
Hello all!
Found your forum while googling for information about an upcoming purchase of a TU250. Y'all seemed friendly and helpful, so I thought I'd join up. I plan on getting the TU250 in about a week, if the dealer still has it. This will be the first motorcycle I've owned - I rode a lot on a single-cylinder Suzuki Boulevard 650 that a family member had, and was riding around on a 50cc scooter for commuting purposes. Last week, I rammed my scoot (going around 30) into an SUV that entered an intersection without right of way. Thankfully, I'll probably be fine, but the insurance payout will be sufficient to by the TU with cash, which I'm totally going to do. Getting right back on the road after a major wreck is the best idea, amirite? See you all around. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Welcome Bantam. You will like being part of this group. Not many TU's out there yet so we will definitely want your impressions and comments. I think it will be a solid performer for you. Ride Safe.
Oh yeah, pics of course. |

Sir, yes sir! I should have some decent pics up in a week, and I'm kind of a tech-guy so I've got all the stuff to mount a video camera to it and whatnot. If I do anything cool on it, I'll put that up too

Welcome to the forum amigo : ) Yes, I think it's good idea to get right back on and ride. And if there is anything at all you can learn about what happened, take that lesson and file it away in your head for next time you encounter a similar situation.
Ride careful and enjoy your new bike when you get it :2tup: AZ Kev

We're gonna wanna know top speed and gas mileage at a minimum. Glad your SUV encounter ended without permanent body damage (to you.) Seems like if you've ridden 50cc and a 650cc thumpers you have at least a general idea where the TU will fall. Should be a good little commuter bike, assuming it is not a lengthy or high speed one.
