Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
It was around 95 degrees F in the NW Atlanta metro area today.
It's funny - BB and I ride around the same areas all the time, but we've never had occasion to meet up. Bill

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
I spent a little over 5 hours riding total yesterday and it was very hot. I drank a LOT of water, took breaks every 45 min to an hour or so and got in the shade as much as possible. I even used the shadow of a few 18 wheelers for shade late in the afternoon while running I-75. I got home about 7:30 last night and drank fluids for about 4 more hours before I finally had to pee. It's supposed to hit 99 here in the shade today. Everybody be mindful of the heat and try to stay hydrated.

Found tag: Seafood restaurant.
New tag: Floating Home! Sorry about the lousy quality, my cheap camera was blown away by the extreme light values.

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
These are in a tiny marina in the Fraser River at the foot of 208th, in Langley. you can see them here on Google maps:
http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&sourc...06968&t=h&z=18 I just found out about them last week when the local paper listed them as an interesting thing to go see. I bet the residents had some thoughts about that!

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
Cool location. I was in your neck of the woods yesterday on the Trans-Canada parking lot. Highway my ass. An average speed of 37 kms/hr is not a highway speed. Luckily I was in the cage with A/C or I would have passed out from the heat with all the stopping and waiting. The entire trip is usually 90 minutes on a good day, yesterday was 4 hours on hot asphalt in the sunshine.

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
I know what you mean. When I ride to work (Langley) I take the long route through Fort Langley along the river. Lots of scenery, some twisties, and a LOT fewer idiots in cages.

Nearest candidate is over 100 miles away. Even the nearest floating casino is about 90.
