Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
I think we are over thinking this just a little bit, it is after all just a game ( a game who's purpose is to give us lowly bikers an excuse to put miles under us and have a good time). :2tup:
I think to save us from having squabbles over the minor details of this game, Patrick needs to just post the rules of the game that way there will not be any confusion. well there you go............... AGAIN!!! viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3176

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
When Patrick first introduced this game I didn't really think I'd get into it, but I have really enjoyed playing, even when I didn't get the tag. I'm not really riding more, but I am stopping more often, and taking more pictures and it gives me something to post and interact about on the forum. Plus, I've enjoyed seeing everybody else's snapshots and where they ride and sometimes I learn a little bit more about them than I would have otherwise, I mean, who would have thought Patrick likes to picnic in a graveyard? Good game Patrick, thanks.

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
Problem is that whenever I go out, my camera is the last thing I think about taking!

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
I like the spirit of the game, but I mostly just ride when I am going somewhere. Worse yet, I mostly go to the same places so I usually don't bother posting ride reports and pictures. Many of my destinations aren't exactly essential, some even border on frivolous, but I do generally have a purpose, even if it is just a sandwich and a coffee.
The picnic table would have been relatively easy for me but I have a serious problem with getting-to-where-I'm-going-in-the-shortest-amount-of-time syndrome and stopping to take pictures just goes against 50 plus years of conditioning. (There are 15 traffic lights on my commute and my "game" is to try and make everyone of them. I pull it off once or twice a month and it puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day.) Still, I might not be too old too change.

As for "taking the camera", it helps if your cell phone has a camera. Mine has turned "fuzzy" but still useable where details aren't that important.

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global
This is the current tag. Let's all work on keeping this thread on point and start moving the "drawn-out" discussions into the Missed Connections thread. I'm not getting on anybody, just wanting to focus the threads a little more. Comments about the tags are still perfectly fine here though.

Good one. I would run down to the corner station to "reclaim" my efforts earlier in the day but I'm too lazy; over to the "other" thread.
