hello & neutral lamp issues
a newbie here. i'm dean from old hickory,tn - near nashville - & a user and friend to several gz250 used in our MSF classes at www.learntoride.org
several of the bikes neutral lights are out. i have replaced the bulbs & thought i was just clumsy with the tiny bulbs & the light still doesn't work. i replaced one tonight with a green LED - still nothing. No power appears to getting to the light after further checks. any common malady for this? dean-o Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: hello & neutral lamp issues
Fuse or short. Have you checked them with a voltmeter? Are they just blowing the bulbs right out or are they just not working at all?
It could be a problem with the neutral indicator switch itself, or along the entire line. From the electrical schematics, the light looks to be tied into the side stand relay (which makes sense) and over to the neutral switch. A voltmeter is your best way to find out where the problem lies.
