New GZ250 owner and love bike !!!

Hello to members. I'm a 62 yr. old long time rider , but new to the Gz 250. What a great fun and powerfull bike. I can handle it so well in all suit. because of its light weight and have all the power I will ever require . The simple design of the engine and drive train make it so reliable. I restore classic cars and find the GZ fun to work on & cumstomize. Will try to learn to download pics to throw out some cheap customizing "tricks" .Thanks for the welcome ,and will be following and learning on the FORUM StudebakerSteve

Re: New GZ250 owner and love bike !!!

Been fabricating + restore for 25 yrs. When bought GZ it had a dent on front of tank. This set me to dreaming up factory looking cusom trim for dent cover up and art deco type design. $ 30 worth of Auto-Zone 1/4" chrome molding and design = KA-BOOM. Thanks, Steve

Good cover up job. Perhaps you meant to say the GZ is "powerful enough."

Looks Great....

I do not think my bike has ever been as clean as yours.

Glad you are having fun.

Welcome Steve. Looks like you will be a year round rider. Like what you did with the bike. And the car, what year is it ??

Yes I ment "powerfull enough".My bike is a 2005. I bought it from a lady that was leaving Fl. in 2 days for $900 = just as you see it except for trim. Love the bike and "yes" year round waterfront day & nite cruising. The car is my only driver that I have had for 20 years and is how I got my nick name. It's an all original (except for $10k Hawk airbrushing) 1964 Studebaker GT Hawk. Last yr. made & only 1400 total made. It won "Best of Show" at the Florida State Studebaker Meet. It's on the street every day doin my errands. The Hawk in the background is actually the hood. Thanks guys & girls. Studebaker Steve

Thanks for the car info. Nice to know there are a few good examples of Studebaker still left and running.

i was wondering the same thing. with a rider my weight between 140 and 150 lbs it would get up and go if you abused it, and i mean really abused it.
