San Emigdio Mountains, aka Forest Highway 58

As good part of the videos not good, so I tried to edit video.
And put in one file, uploaded.

While I was riding through the Hwy. 33; without destination,
I saw couple of bikers were on the small county road intersctions.
Just curious if they have some problem, stop and chat with them.
They were just resting, and waiting a rider who is having test ride of a bike from other riders.
Seniors, very energetic, and kind people, told me that this country back road is the Biker's Road.
As I don't have any specific road to ride at that time, I decided to ride this.
They showed me the map on which this road end with Interstate 5 which I could take to back home.
And told me that there are some thick fog up above mountain....
I thanked them, and start my bike...burum..bu...bu...


The road; Foreset Highway 58; starts at the north of Hwy. 33 and end at the Fraizer which connects with Interstate 5.
I strongly recommend this road if you haven't tried yet.
But I think that good seasons for the bike riding are Spring to Summer.
There were "Chain Required" road signs.
It's little chilly on the mountain, I got some liners and termal >> still felt cold.
Be prepared with winter glove..

Amaizing sceneries, easy roads, good road conditions (even though there were some gravels)...
Top of the mountain, I got some dense thick Fog (I think that it was cloud hung above the mountain).
I enjoyed a lot, and had some level of chemical processing when I was passing the foggy road.. ha ha ha

Here are the 90% of road video coverage... (about 30-40 min. and there are no part to be boared)
As the weather was little overcasted and light conditon wasn't correct for the video, there are some dark sceneries at the clips.
However, good part of the clips are clear to enjoy.

Busy, I did that road in an RV one year, used to camp on Mt. Pinos after dropping off my eldest at the Girl Scout Camp up there. One year I go bored with the same route home so I tried 58.

Veerry nice road for a bike. Wish I was there with you. All we have right now is rain and more rain. Hard to believe that area is an hour from L.A. and traffic is so light or non-existant.

Wrightwood is also about an hour away - and you can ski there! In fact, they were open for one weekend in October. I rode up there last year on the GZ in Nov to pick up my pass and it was pretty damn cold at the top.

Yes, that's why I couldn't stop weekend riding not only for getting some fresh air but also for refreshing mind...
And it gives me good following week days.

Hi, Mr. Anan.
The temperature of the top of mountain was pretty chilly.
I think that 20-30 degrees difference between top and low ground.
With RV, I think that you had some good sceneries when you passed the road, as it has some high eye level.
I want to go to the same road at the some clear/nice/warm day again, so I could get some missed sceneries.

i think you have way to much fun with that video camera bussy

not sure what made me think of this but when two bikes are in front of you sharing one lane, going around a curve and they are both leaning it kind of a strange sight. maybe it is just me.

Hi, Mr. Danny.
It's just kind of my hobby; taking photos....
So, there is no too much for me when having fun with camera.
Photography was actually one of major study long times ago; more than 20 years ago...
Ha ha ha, but didn't contniued nor finished....

Um, it might be interesting scene if bikers were in front of me when camera is rolling...at the curver.
Evev with my shadows look strange.
I saw some YouTube clips like you said, mostly highly experienced riders video; from track or on the street.
And those are looks great, but not sure for me.
If I got any chance, let me try to follow them ..... ha ha ha, I don't think that I could catch them...

it is a really nice day out, think i am going to get on my bike and go for a ride. i had it all ready for winter but i cant pass up the chance to get out while it is nice.

i need to get me one of those hd camera's how do you mount that to the bike bussy. sorry if i am asking a question that has already been answered. i see that you don't get any road vibration in your videos
