Google to "spaan" then "Accesorios Spaan para motos custom" It's a Spanish company, out of Madrid. You can get their catalogue on line. It's got quite a few goodies for the gz, and bikes in general. With you being in Italy, I reckon your local bike shop should be able to get the parts for you. :2tup:

You have to watch out for what you mount as lights and the current draw - the GZ's electrical output from the alternator will not support much more than the bike itself, unless you want a dead battery.

MC bars on Lynda's M-50. These are cheap lights from Wally World with 20 watt MR 16 halogen bulbs. They are mostly for creating a visible triangle of light for oncoming traffic to see. I would suggest 10 watt bulbs on the GZ to avoid a dead battery. Another option is MR-16 LED's which are presently on my Vstrom as an experiment. They only draw 1.2 watts each and would be even better for the GZ and are more vibration proof than the halogen bulbs. The LED's will not light up the inside of a cow after dark but are quite visible to oncoming traffic. Hope this generates more ideas for you.

Great looking "Crash bars" (engine guards) I wish they had some decent ones that fit my Vulcan 500 but so far I haven't found any except a few "custom" made ones.

Have you tried a Vulcan forum ? Surely some one has found something that would work well without being a custom fit with the extra $$ signs attached.

WW, Yes, seems like all of us Vulcan 500 riders are either going to have to accept the Kawasaki OEM bars, which are pathetic, small and don't even come out as wide as the inside edge of the brake pedal, or go "custom" from some guy who offers to take our money, and drive to Mexico and have a shop there fabricate them to match the ones they did for his Vulcan and then he will ship them to you in a few weeks for several hundred dollars! I just don't feel good about that even though several people have taken him up on it and posted good results. One guy in Europe had pics of his and several people immediately jumped in asking where he got them, but again, he had them custom made locally and it cost a bunch. Apparently Scootworks has been "teasing" Vulcan owners for years with a waiting list for some really nice looking ones that they "might" have available in the future, but several guys on the forum said they've been on that list for over two years and when they call about it Scootworks says they still haven't decided if they will ever do it. Wish we could find the manufacturer scootworks is supposedly thinking of dealing with and we could try to buy them direct. The units Scootworks shows pictures of look great and very similar to the guy in Europe's set, much nicer lines than the ones from the Mexico "connection" but no idea where they came from.
