Highway pegs

I am wanting to put highway pegs on my engine guard. I am assuming the engine guard is 7/8" (same size as handle bars) or is the engine guard 1". Anyone know, the manual doesnt list the engine guard. Thanks

Not the prettiest solution but it works.

looks ok to me. Where did you buy the bar/pegs and is it a 7/8" or 1". Thanks.

Looks like a good way to extend the engine guard too if the pegs were not hinged and the parts were strong enough.

Oh, to answer your question, the suzuki engine guard is 7/8".

That is a pretty slick install on the crash bars. Have the same pegs on the Vstrom crash bars, the only chrome on the bike.

They do fold and it does make it stronger. We know this from experience. Bent the flimsy Suzuki mounting bracket.

The Suzuki Engine Guard (Crash Bar) is primarily a decoration. It's not big enough or shaped correctly to give you much protection.

Does anyone know a creative way to mount these if you don't have an engine guard?
