Finally joined
I've been following the threads on this site for sometime and figured it's time I become a member. I'm Dave, 21 and from Columbia, South Carolina. I go to school in Myrtle Beach. I'm currently here for the summer, working for the university. That means bike week. That also means black bike week. It makes it even more fun riding on the GZ.
I already have one question; My model is from 2003 and I need to replace the speedo drive. I've found one for sale from a 2000 model. Will it work on my 2003? Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Welcome to the forum Dave. Hope you find a lot of useful and entertaining information on here. I don't know the answer to your speedometer question but I'm sure lot's of others on here will chime in soon.

Re: Finally joined
Welcome. The 2000 parts will work just fine on the 2003. In fact, almost all of the 2000 parts will transition over. These bikes have changed very little since their inception in 1998.

Re: Finally joined
Happened to look at a Black 2009 today at Mission Motorsports. Looks just like the 1999. The GZ is kind of like the Beetle of bikes!
