hello!

Hey everyone, my name is Dave and I just bought a 2003 GZ250 on Saturday. I live in eastern NC and this is my first motorcycle, although I used to ride 4-wheelers as a kid. I've signed up to take the safety course on the 19th, so I have a while to wait. Until then, I'll just be shopping for gear and maybe getting in a little practice around the neighborhood, once I get a license plate and insurance. Looking forward to talking with everyone!

Re: hello!

You found a good place to hang out. If you ever get over to the other side of your state, the road through the Smoky Mountains would make an excellent place to ride your new toy.

Good luck with your practice and have fun. I'm having a blast on mine.

Re: hello!

I just noticed a lot of people on the board order parts from Ron Ayers. I live about 7 miles away from their store. I just went there last week to buy a helmet. Looks like I lucked out! :2tup:
