my gz after a year of owning it

bought this 06 gz in march of last year and wanted to share my progress. when i bought this bike i bought it with the intention of breaking it down and modding it to my liking......that was before i realized that there is literally nothing available for this model lol. but i didnt let that stop me and i just did what i could. so here it is from the time i bought it till how it currently sits as of this past weekend.

found a really good deal 2 hours away from where I lived so I drove out there and picked her up.

When I first went to pick her up

the bike was really quiet with the stock muffler, i was an easy blind side target. So i added some lights to be more visible at night and chopped the muffler

Next I blacked out some pieces, bought some new handlebars, new muffler and lowered the rear

Grabbed a sportser tank, solo seat, sissybar from tc bros and fender from lowbrow customs

and this is how she currently sits.

i expect to fully be done in a couple weeks and will share once its complete.

Thanks! this build has definitely been a fun eye opening experience. it was awesome to get back into some welding after not doing it for about 10 years lol. although parts are limited, ive taken it as a challenge to try to do as much as i can with this bike thats within my capabilities.
