Oh No Extremely sluggish-to no crank.

Hi Guys,

I bought a 2007 GZ250 about 5 months ago and it's been great. Unfortunately, I'm starting to have starting problems. It barely cranks and as I continue to try the cranking gets more and more sluggish until it finally just doesn't turn over at all. I thought it might have been a dead battery but it reads 12.4 volts and I bought the battery new when I purchased the bike. All the lights work. I did have one situation where the bike started after I turned the kill switch on and off about ten times. However, that doesn't help anymore. I replaced the starter solenoid and that didn't change anything. Any suggestions

Just a thought .... could be a high resistance in the kill switch, Have you thought about blasting it with contact cleaner aerosol?
