Messin with the airfilter

So in my normal way I've started messing with the bits...

I got a new air filter and now.

Because it's a pita to get one and stupidly priced, I'll go hunting for the charge. It honesty looks like they have just glued the charge onto the intake and it is just a question of finding the right filter to fit in its place. The airbox holds the filter by the 4 screws and it contacts the far side of the airbox so it doesn't move.

Here are pics of the a/f disassembled, so if anyone has a part/make/model number you think would fit in the stock filters place let me know and I'll measure it up.

The filter for the GS-500 88 to 02 & 97 to 04 Marauder 800 will fit & is cheaper. Also the Hiflo-Filtro HFA-3503 is a direct fit.

Just in case you are not aware, the GZ has a reverse flow air filter system. You can not drill extra holes in the air box for better air flow. You will just suck in unfiltered air into the engine.
