Difference between DR8EA and DR9EA?

I was wondering if there would be a noticeable difference. Plugs look the same. Wondering if the difference is in temperature range.

Thanks!

8 and 9 are code temp for spark...
In ngk brand....higher number means colder spark type

Use colder spark if u live in some hot area or have some mod engine (modding that can make the engine hotter)

Q : what happend if we using much colder spark in stock engine ?

A : fuel will not burnt perfectly in the chamber and will created residue (black spot inside the chamber)

Sorry for my bad english

Thank you... That's what I was thinking. I live in Fl and as of late temps have been 90+ and I've found with the DR8EA I don't feel the bike runs as well...
Guess in the end it's all preference but thank you...

The handbook says (I'm translating from Spanish) DR8EA standard. If the plug is wet or very dark change to DR7EA. If the plug is a very light colour or glazed change to DR9EA.
