That is the NO.1 reason for munched up bar ends.

When mine went down, I managed to straighten the long bolt. Give it a try. You've nothing to lose.

Hey i am trying to get it out but it is just way to stucked... Ideas water warrior please. I think the screw is very twisted...

A few drops of soapy water might help it slide out. Turn the bars to the right or left so the fluid runs down to the inner parts of the bar end. Wiggle and pull at the same time. A drop of dish soap would be my choice.

Thanks... next step, will change the rear fender... Got it on ebay for $35 and is mint... :-) When i bought the bike it was a little broken and repaired not very well. Will try to find a guide
