Would this be stupid

I'm currently in the middle of a cafe/bobber conversion. This is my first bike and I'm not very aware of the "unwritten motorcycle rules". I want to get a harley sportster peanut gas tank to replace my bulky stock one. Would it be stupid/cheesy/bush league if i used one with a harley davidson logo on it. I would not have any other suzuki emblems on it. I just found a dope one on ebay and love the way it looks. Thanks!

Why not get some stick on letters "this is not a" and fix them above the harley logo. That'd surely piss off the Harley posers. L.O.L.

It's kind of like the import auto race kids who put BMW badges on their Honda... It's not a big deal. A gas tank is a gas tank. But if you want to do this right, then get the peanut tank and shave the badges.

I like the idea with painting "this is not a" in front of it. Peanut tanks are awesome but Harley not so much.

Have to agree with Shaun. It is your bike to do as you please. I may not like it but I won't say to do or not to do anything. Your opinion of your bike is the only one that really matters. Above all just have fun with your bike.
