CSR Custom 250 Automatic
Here is an interesting bike. Supposedly the only automatic gearbox cruiser bike on the market. I can't really find out a lot about it. I think it is Chinese. It looks like it may be scooter engine mounted on a cruiser frame. Liquid cooled and I believe fuel injected and disc brakes front and rear.

Here is a 2009 with 8000km for !000 Euros ( about $1350) http://motos.coches.net/ocasion/csr/cus ... 542314.htm Specs include a built in MP3 player and speakers.

Re: CSR Custom 250 Automatic
That's actually a knock-off of the CF Moto V3.
I owned a V5 not long ago. They are good bikes. Solid 250 motor based on the Honda Helix powerplant and attached to a long box CVT transmission instead of the stubby scooter version. |

Too bad these machines never make it here in North America. Not enough demand no doubt in a land of bigger is better. I guess it is a case of image for some riders. Gotta have a monster machine just to get to the coffee shop.

Re: CSR Custom 250 Automatic
Yeah, CF Moto is actually kind of a big deal and they are available here in the States, but you won't find them through full fledged dealerships. Maybe back in 2007 you could. But now they are mostly on the secondary market.
As for the 650, everyone in the Chinabike market has basically been pooping themselves since they announced this bike was coming to the market. They also make a naked version with a more standard seating position. It's only about as powerful as a strong 500, but whatever. It's a a solid ride and consider it's coming from China, it's amazing for what it is. From what I've read, it's kind of like an early 90's sport bike, which means it's awesome, even if it's performance is just slightly antiquated by current Japanese standards.
