Looking for rear wheel Assebbly

My 2009 needs new tires and break shoes and mybe a new cush drive, I'm thinking if I could find a rear rim/tire assembly with newer. low mileage tires, it would be cheaper tah having the dealer install brand new tires etc.

Check eBay. There is a guy in LA Cali, parting a GZ right now! Retrojets is the name of the seller.

Re: Looking for rear wheel Assebbly

I happen to be parting out my GZ 250(http://www.gz250bike.com/forum/viewt...hp?f=11&t=6767) and still have the rear wheel assembly. The tire has very good tread, I think there were only about 1000 miles put on this tire. I am asking $75 for the entire assembly and $35 for shipping. Here are some picts.

How old is the tire? You can tell by DOT number, I'm interested if tire is five years old or younger. Brake pads ever replaced?

The tire was made on the 30 week of 2008 so it is 5 years and 8 weeks old. I purchased it in late 2009 and I really never rode the GZ that much after March of 2010 when I bought my new bike. It has been garage kept the entire time. The brake pads and shoes are low. I would honestly recommend buying new ones, the cost just to ship the pads by themselves would be almost the price of buying them new. If you still wanted to buy the rear wheel assembly I could throw them in for free, they would be good in a pinch but would still need to be replaced soon.
