drop in gas mileage
My trip out to the farm and riding around in the fields and woods for quite a while dropped the mileage on the 3rd tank to 61.73. My 3 tank average is 83.14 mpg. I'm thinking with colder weather and longer warmups it will drop the average more. My best mileage on the last HD 883 was 64 and the worst was 38, just for an unfair comparison.

Re: drop in gas mileage
From what I've read in the past, mid sixties seems about the average for the GZ. I work my mileage out (convert from litres) into English MPG, & get around 72, so I reckon that I, too, get mid sixties American MPG.

Re: drop in gas mileage
Just for laughs - check your tire pressure. It may have dropped with cooler temps.
