Teaser (tom) in Detroit, my 2005 GZ250 as of March 2012

This poor soul of a bike really needed some help when I got it, it was abandoned by two owners... took it upon myself to make things right and nice!
First, the saddlebags (Castle) mounted with a universal adapter kit... I needed longer bolts from the hardware store but got it done.
Windshield is from an old 750 Honda (thanks to my neighbor,) and fit just right.
I use heavy duty stainless screening at work, and have access to some scraps so after modifying my exhaust and intake, well... couldn't resist.
Yellow strip LED (s) under the lip of the gas tank on either side, (police have a problem with red or blue it seems,) makes night riding safer and I
think it looks a tad AWESOME. (wired to the orange horn wire, and to a toggle switch under the seat so they're "off" during the daylight.)
I will post the "technical" aspects of my modifications in another post in the appropriate area.

Welcome Teaser. Looks like the GZ finally found a home.

Did you make any actual alterations to the airbox?? That is a no-no. The airflow is reversed compared to normal machines and any opening to the airbox will let unfiltered air into the engine. The air enters the center/inside of the filter and exits out to the surrounding air box and then to the engine.

No airbox modification...just the painted cover. (sounds better too...)

Looks good! I especially like the LED lights. Would love to have some on The Beast.

Looks pretty good, I've seen alot of mods on this site an wonder "what in the world they were thinking"! Some mods are so bad, that they totally lost any resale value and now all there good for is a dirt bike with street tires.

Even with off road tires the GZ would probably beat you to death with it's short suspension travel.
