Where to spray fogging oil
Hello,
I just picked up a can of fogging oil at the suggestion of some of the posts here and am wondering where exactly/how much to spray. I know we are suppose to spray into the spark plug hole after removing the spark plug but how much do we spray? Also, are we suppose to spray it into the carb? Thanks! Re: Where to spray fogging oil
Spark plug hole is the main purpose. Just a good dose should be ok.
Won't hurt the cables at both ends either.

Fogging oil? What is it, & what's its purpose? Never, ever, heard of it.

Fog the cylinders
Remove the spark plugs and spray fogging oil into the holes to coat the interior surfaces of the cylinders. Rotate the flywheel a few turns to spread the oil on the cylinder walls. While the plugs are out is the time to check them and regap or replace as required. Reinstall the spark plugs.

Re: Where to spray fogging oil
Mmmmmmmmm seems like snake oil to me. Surely, the first time you fire up the engine, the burning gasses will burn the oil off the cylinder walls? Never seen it, or heard of its need, in either England or Spain. Gullible or what?

Where to spray fogging oil
Fogging is for storing an engine. High cling oil to protect piston an rings. Burns off the first time you start in the spring. Often used in lawn mowers and other seasonal garden tools.
