3500 miles and the fork seals are leaking.....
Is this normal? I have a fork tube that is leaking pretty heavily. I thing it's way too early for this and a dealer wants around $250 to fix it!!! I saw 2 sets of forks on ebay a couple of days ago but now the listing has been pulled. They were going for aroung $50-$75. Anyone know where I can get a set or some help on fixing the seal?

I'm sure it's in the service manual. Have you downloaded it yet?
It's the first post in the general maintenance section. |

Read the fine manual. There are instructions in there. However, this can be a challenge. Its not as simple as changing your oil.
If you are not mechanical and don't have the proper tools you might be better off to pay to have it done. My daughter has done it. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
