Ha ha reminds me of demonstrating a geiger counter to a high school student once, when I was at the university, during an "open day".

Me: "this is sand " - "click, click, click" said the counter. The student seemed interested.
Me: "this is clay" - "KRRRRGGRGRG" said the counter.
I looked up. He was gone.
