Re: What kind of Oil and Carb Clearner?

Couldn't find ratio information for motorcycles on Berrymen's web page. Seems to relate to cars mostly.

Assume the B-12 carb cleaner rather than B-12 fuel system additive is what you suggest. Can you give the ratio formula, i.e. how many ounces of B-12 to three gallons of gas?

Also I noticed that Seafoam gives a ratio for CARS of 1 ounce per gallon.

Thanks for the further information. Really appreciate the helpful advice you experienced riders are willing to give to us struggling newbies.

That same formula works for bikes also.I have used as much as 2 ounces per gallon,in a really gummed up system.

I have used Rotella-T for years & have yet to have any oil related problems of any kind. These engines are designed to run on Regular.Premium is not needed or required. But it's your money.

So....You don't agree with EVERYBODY ELSE that this low compression engine, designed as third world primary transport, will run on the cheapest fuels? You haven't heard of retarders in premium fuel, that retard the firing too much for the GZ engine? How on earth can you buy fuel from one station, when you're on a cross country run? Whoops, forgot, you don't do cross country runs - you have to stop every half an hour to clean and service your bike.
