Tail Bag mounting

I purshased one of these http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=25 ... tier2=3094

It's got plenty of room i can fit all my basic crap in it for going between work and the house.

I need a mounting solution... currently i can put it on the back seat run the bungies to the fender and run a strap under the front seat and it holds well... and fairly easy to get on and off that way.

But the bungies kind of stretch the plastic fender outward which doesn't seem good.

I've looked everywhere for a tail rack\luggage rack but they are all used in conjunction with a sissy bar... are there any racks out there that don't require me to have a sissy bar? and i'm open to any suggestions you guys have on where i can connect the bungies and velcro strap on the bottom of the bag.

i thought about getting some 1/4" bar/wire from home depot and bending out a bracket that would mount between the fender and the rail ... down then out and back up to hook the bungies too

I'll probably just take the bag back... it was a good deal though was on the clearance isle cause it's missing something (i can't find anything missing) for 65.00

picture for reference

My new bike came from the showroom with a sissybar/rack combo attached. To install my trunk, I just sawed the backrest part of the rack off, which left me with a nice smooth rear rack only.

You can do that, or you can remove your rear seat and install a trunk to the top of the rear fender.
I would suggest hard luggage over soft, but that's just me.

This isn't the best photo of my trunk, but I'm in the office and it's all I've got.
