saddle bag ammo cans

Ammo cans make pretty good saddle bags for small items. I took the chrome strips off of the rear fender and inserted longer bolts, then replaced the strips. There is also some good information buried deep here in the forum archives:

A rather sturdy and lockable option which only costs a fraction of "real" hard cases is to fit surplus military ammo cans in place of the saddlebags.

Mad props to Badbob, and others, for their write-up on how to install ammo cans on the GZ.
Follow this link for a How-to and discussion on the install:

Re: saddle bag ammo cans

Heavy for their size but the GZ can haul a lot more with ease. The GZ is a workhorse in 3rd world countries.
