Frame size.
Hi guys,
posted yesterday that i was getting a Suzuki GZ 150 over here in china. one thing i wanted to know, is the frame the same size on the 125, 150 and 250 machines ? I am 5' 10" and 90KG ,am worried the bike may be a bit small for me, i am used to riding quite bike machines ( Triumph Bonnies, BMW R75, Harleys etc.) Price i paid for bike is 10,800 RMB / £1017.48 / $1619.20 and 1500 RMB / £150 / $225 for registration and insurance is 200 RMB / £18.84 / $29.98 for one year. comes with hard panniers / bag support rails, sissy bar and rack. forward engine bars as standard. have uploaded a pic direct from Suzuki china website. what do you think ? regards Darren Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Frame size.
as far as i know the GZ125 and 250 have the same size frame but i couldn't tell you about the 150 but from the picture (-nice looking by the way-) it looks fairly similar
We have riders here that are north of 6 foot and don't find it uncomfortable at all so i'd say you'll be fine I'm 5-9 and ~75 kg - no problems at all |

Re: Frame size.
I think you'll be fine for commutes up to 60 miles. If you start to feel cramped, you can always sit on the pillion. That price is dirt cheap!

Just from the picture, it LOOKS the same......and some quite large riders with the 250 have no problem with the size.

Re: Frame size.
I think Suzuki has a "do it all frame" for their smaller bikes. 125,150,250 and the 250 V-twin probably share the basic frame for economical manufacturing. Rider size probably won't be an issue unless you are well above the norm or well below the norm.
