NEWBIE 1999 GZ250 owner, and new rider

Bought a 1999 for my wife as her first bike. Already ordered new steering stem bearings and seals. We BOTH took the MCSF (Motor Cycle Safety Foundation) riding course! PLEASE PLEASE try and get everyone to take this class. IT was VERY informational, and really teaches you alot.

OK enough about that. She is a new driver, I have owned a couple bikes over the years. First little street motorcycle. Wife loves it. Will be doing alot of "maintenance" when I get home. looking at buying some new pirelli sport demon tires.

Welcome to the forum - both of you! Always great to have some fellow GZ riders join us. I am sure she will enjoy that bike, and it's great that you both took the course. Hopefully you will find, as I have, that it's pretty darned dependable, and other than scheduled maintenance and upkeep, you won't have many problems.

Enjoy, and ride safe :2tup:
