Re: Non-ethanol gas locations.

Nice comeback. Or nice try.
Can't stand being poked? A joke? Can't practice what you preach?
What is your problem? Probably stems from early childhood. Or being vertically challenged where you have to overcompensate in other areas.
:fu: :fu: To you too, as long as you want to go that way..

Ooooh. That sounds like it could be fun. One at a time or both together? What did you have in mind?
  :poke2: :poke2:
Both of you out behind the wood shed with boxing gloves. I will sit and watch.

Can we sell tickets? Could be a fundraiser for this site.

Re: Non-ethanol gas locations.

I've noticed that my Vulcan is very hard to start if I have to fill up a couple of times here in Atlanta where ethanol is mandated, but it fires off the first hit every time when I fill up back home in the big city of Rossville on non-ethanol gas, so I try to avoid the ethanol as much as possible, but at some point during the week I have no other options left. I see a drop of about 4-5 mpg highway on my Vulcan when I have a full tank of ethanol (10%) vs pure non ethanol gas. I've also noticed that we couldn't get my parents jet ski's to run worth a flip on ethanol gas, but they do just fine now that we've switched back to non ethanol and the lawn mowers and weed eaters were almost impossible to get started on ethanol, but they crank up just fine on regular gasoline.

Re: Non-ethanol gas locations.

BB, I think the less sophisticated small engines are probably affected by ethanol a fair bit more. Possibly a less powerful ignition system to light off the fuel mixture. My bike and Ranger are fine but I wouldn't want to try pull starting a chain saw or lawn mower.
