Re: Total custom
I seem to remember them riding around, doing a road test on the bikes, before they were handed over, so they must be street legal. :??:

Re: Total custom
My daughter was up in that neighborhood a few years ago when she had to go try a case in the local court for her firm. She passed by the building and immediately pulled over and stopped in there to say hello and look around. She met them all and was treated pretty nicely for a little visit. The best part was, she brought home 2 great T-shirts, as good looking as their bikes.

Re: Total custom
i remember the bike they built for sunoco. the wheel spokes were so thin that sr was able to bend them with his fingers. he refused to ride the bike with those wheels, and the bike was raffled off to some "lucky" winner.

Re: Total custom
by the way, the wheel i mentioned was a billet wheel, not a spoked one. if a person can bend the spokes with his/her fingers, what the hell is a high horsepower engine gonna do?

Re: Total custom
Interesting comments here. I will stick with a cheap Suzuki that can be totally replaced for less than a fancy show bike wheel. My Vstrom has no chrome to shine and actually looks good with a coat of dirt and road grime. But I do keep the lights clean and functioning.
