Badbob, the trunk mount was quite easy. Remove the pillion seat, retained the front bracket for the pillion and used a piece of flat plate to mount the trunk mounting plate on. Had a metal shop cut it to size and bend the rear of the plate( approx 1 inch) at an angle to match the mounting bolt of the rear fender. Check bike mods for March 22 for a pic of the trunk and mounting plate.

I wonder how I missed that. I thought I was looking at all the posts. This one I would have remembered. Thanks.

Now that I looked at it the posting and there I was. Must have killed a brain cell.

Maybe you were out riding instead of reading. Riding does keep the grey matter alive longer.

Sounds like I need to ride more. I have a trip coming up the end of the week. Maybe that will help.

Almost went for a ride yesterday but was too lazy to put on a rain suit. Winter is mostly rain here so dressing up to be water proof is a must. Doesn't get below freezing too often but extra layers are still a must. Love those heated grips.
