Turn signal indicator (below the speedo)
How do you get to this bulb which is just below the speedo? Mine doesn't come on when I turn on my blinkers. I want to replace it.
I tried pulling on the rubber tube that's underneath it, but I don't want to break anything. Thanks! Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Actually you need to pry the lens off with the crome ring that's around it.
I use a very small regular screwdriver. I also use (with a light touch) a pair of needle nose pliers to get the bulb out, and reinstall the new one.

That is one tricky location for that bulb... how did you get needle nose pliers in there? I wonder if there is any better tool for this...

Re: Turn signal indicator (below the speedo)
Those 194 bulbs are a lot tougher than you think. See if you can "roll" the rubber housing down around it or push the pig tail up thru the rubber.

Re: Turn signal indicator (below the speedo)
OK, got it done, except that I just realized I used a 168 bulb instead of 194.

Re: Turn signal indicator (below the speedo)
Is the other bulb bright enough to see ? If it is then leave it. If it is not as bright and harder to see then you will know how to do a R+R.
