Re: Easy Rider Being a Hard-Headed @#$hole Thread continues here

Didn't anybody's mother or grandmother or any teacher ever tell anyone on here "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all"?
Instead of just posting a post just to post another one, there ought to be something constructive to say, or at least put some indication (smiley or other cartoon pic) if you mean to express a polite innocent jab or poke at someone, instead of intentionally or unintentionally offending someone. It's so easy to criticize, more difficult to explain yourself later. It should be avoided if possible. A mistake can be pointed out, but do it without harm or malice and try to make it known you meant no harm.
This is a big waste of time, especially when we are trying to solve someone's problem or give advice, or express an opinion. It alienates members and doesn't help the forum.
Just my opinion.

JWR and Patrick. I am no one's father, and I was not pointing a finger at any one individual. I was making a serious comment about the direction this thread is/was going. To everyone in general. See something you don't like, try ignoring it. If it won't have a profound effect on your future 5 years from now then it probably isn't all that serious. See something that could have 2 or 3 different meanings, pick the happy one.
