North Carolina representative
Hey guys.
I need to offer you all a big thanks for the info posted here. I built a motorcycle stand based on a post on this site (which was awesome by the way) and it's good to see a community for the GZ250. Sad to say, I havent seen a single GZ (other than mine) here in the Tarheel state. Been riding for a few months now on a my used black 05 gz250. Yup... noob. In that time I have put about 1,500 miles on my ride and have loved every mile of it. Short commuter and long weekend rider. Since I am a hopeless addict on this great bike, I might as well join this support group.. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: North Carolina representative
yeah you don't see a lot of gz's out on the road. every one seems to get the honda rebel instead witch in my opinion cant hold a candle to the gz as far as ride and comfort go. i ran across the gz when i stopped in at a Suzuki dealer ship that was next door the the honda dealer. i happend to see the gz in there and i set on it. i thought this bike feels way better than the rebel. i looked on craigs list for used ones, took one out on a test drive and said sold, so much better than the other 250's out there. i hated the honda rebel, test drove 3 of them and was not pleased so i was glad i ran across the gz.
in my opinion the gz is a excellent choice to start out on. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Yeah, there's just something about that fat front tire.
Rebels look a little bit more puny and I thought they felt a little cramped with the foot pegs and handle bars. |

Woot, another Raleigh rider! My wife has been riding her GZ lately, though the weather this week is keeping her off the road. Not sure when we'll be out again, but we love company!

All the rain we have been getting here in cen. Tx. I have'nt even put my key in my bike for 6 days. My road out to the black top is one huge mud hole. Gonna have to take out a loan to fill the truck up- LOL

Bonehead, one word "raingear". Okay that might actually be two words.
