Hopeful GZ owner soon!

Hello from muggy Lansing! I'll be officially "un-married" soon (hoorah!) and I'm going to celebrate by getting a GZ 250. I'm heading to my new rider course next weekend, and most of the bikes there are GZ 250's, so I'm pretty excited. This looks like a great resource, thanks for having me!

Congrats regarding getting divorced! Everyone has to do it once. It changed my life style and my savings account! Welcome on board! Great bike, great forum!

Welcome and congrats on both happy events. Glad to hear you will be taking the training course. I would also like to recommend a copy of "Proficient Motorcycling" as it is a great read for all riders regardless of experience. Well, except for the author who was recently inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame for his contributions to safe and happy riding. David Hough is the author.

I wouldn't recommend you ride without reading, just full of "great" information. Keep mine on my coffee table. I pick up once or twice a week! (refresher course)
Great recommendation! Not a better book out there!

I also recommend "Proficient." Get the nice 2008 edition. It's not only full of great info, it's a beautiful book.
