Hello
Bought a GZ250 last Oct. from a friend and while searching for info found this forum. Lot's of good info so I joined.
I'm in my mid 40's and used to ride dirt bikes in my teens to early 20's. I had not been a bike since then so I thought the GZ would be perfect to get back into riding. I was right, I love the bike. It's a 2000, bought it with 2300 miles on it and I've already put 800 miles on it. I'm 6 feet tall and 190 pounds, but I find the bike to be very comfortable. I knew it wasn't going to be fast, but I wasn't really looking for that. I ride it in the city, on back roads and even a bit on the highway. Fun little bike. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Welcome to the forum. From the pic, it looks as though you picked up a nice clean bike. I have a 2009 GZ with just under 12k on it. Bought it for a commuter bike but enjoy just getting out and riding around the Vegas valley. Hope you find this site as educational as I have. Safe riding.

That's my favorite paint scheme. And my favorite color for the GZ. The dressed up tank is just so pretty.
Welcome. |
