Hello from Des Moines, Iowa
Hi All,
New member here. I purchased a 2005 GZ250 with approximately 3,100 miles about a month and a half ago. I have been mostly riding it to and from work and have had, what I would consider, insane milage (72 MPG). The bike is comfortable, easy to manuever, and dependable. Overall a very good value. I always wanted to ride and finally took the MSF course from the local community college here. Got my endorsement and have been riding ever since. For any other noobies out there...I definitely recommend ATGATT as well as a full face helmet with a light on the back of it. I bought the GMAX 54 Full Face Helmet and when the light is on, traffic seems to stay back further. Thanks for a great forum! I really enjoyed the posts on valve adjustments. I had an old diesel Mercedes that needed maintenance like this...but everything was out in the open. Looks a little more cramped with the Suzuki but totally doable with the right tools and the assistance from the forum. Cheers! Login or Register to Remove Ads |
