Squeaky brakes....
My brakes have been squeaking ever since I've gotten my bike. I've checked the front pads, at least.... and they look almost brand new.
I still think they should've "broken in" by now, tho.... so is there anything I can do to stop the squealing?? I've used the brake goo stuff before on cars, that holds the thin plate / shim onto the pad. Is there a shim on these pads that might be causing them to squeal?? Login or Register to Remove Ads |

There should be anti squeal shims on the pads. If they're missing, that may be the cause.front brakes.jpg
see item 15.
