Right tool for oil change?

Gday all. Just tried to do the first oil change after getting (I thought!) all the stuff together and ran into two problems. One, one of the bolts is tight as a.... well, tight. It has just started to burr it so i stopped while only slightly behind. Second one of the bolt heads is directly under the left hand exhaust so how the heck do i get to it!??! Tried a small spanner and a socket wrench and niether seemed to work
Also if you only loosen two of the outer bolts along with the central one will the cap come loose enough to let the oil out anyway? This way i dont have to worry about the slightly burred third bolt and can just leave it.
Anyway, thanks for any advice you can give me.
