I just checked out the technical forums--thanks in advance for all the great advice it looks like I'm going to get! I'd like to start doing my own scheduled maintenance. I downloaded the service manual & have started to look through it.

I've had my 1999 GZ250 for about 6 years now; I got it after taking the course to get my license, and the instructor suggested that everybody "ought to start out on a 250cc". I wound up loving the bike and have never considered getting anything bigger--the handling is great for dodging potholes and other city street hazards, and the 65-70 mpg is hard to beat.
