Hwy 9 to Arlington WA

Wow, just experienced my longest x-country (so far) riding from Abbotsford down to Arlington, Washinton for the EAA Fly-in, yesterday.
160 miles round trip, 4 hours on the road, carving turns through one of the most interesting bike routes in these parts.
Got precious few photos along the way since most of the road has no shoulder to pull over onto.
I'll have to rig up a camera I can reach while riding, like Water Warrior's.
There are almost no straight sections and no traffic congestion, just lots of turns, a couple of lakes, several rivers, and scenery for miles.

Typical pastoral countryside nestled in the mountains.

We live in a rainforest climate so everything is green.

One of the lakes along the way.

And another lake.

And, of course, the air show!
