Am I too fat for this bike?

Hi,

Please take it easy on me. I want a bike that is great on gas mileage just to drive to and from work to save money. I am 6' at a whopping 320 lbs. Wow, I know. I weigh more than the bike. My concerns: Am I too fat? Will the bike be powerful enough? Not wanting thrills, just commuting. Will I catch the clutch on fire?
