Stickers

Has anyone taken off the stickers on the side covers? The ones that say "GZ 250" on each side. On my '06 they're actually two stickers - one that says "GZ" and the other that says "250". I took off all the ones on the gas tank just a couple of days after I brought the bike home, but didn't do anything with the side labels. I'd like to take them off before the color fades around them. Any ideas are appreciated and will result in buying a cold one if we ever meet up, too.
