Learned my lesson today...
Learned my lesson today... No matter how close your destination is, always gear up.... Slow right hand turn into a parking lot, front end washed out in the gravel... Minimal damage to my bike and myself but I know I'm going to feel it in the morning...

Yup, that will leave a lasting reminder.
Yes, I realize a short trip to the store is a pain in the butt if you dress for safety and spend more time dressing/undressing than riding. Please don't do that again. Even a little oops can have lasting consequences. Ride safe. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

"slow righthand turn?" Did you use the front brake at slow speed, with the bars turned? If you did, the bike will always go down. This is the one time that you use back brake only.

Didn't touch the front all all... but swept out anyway. Unfortunately my road rash turned into an accompanying elbow fracture

chandlerbingf--sorry to hear of your mishap.
Were you leaning much and did you see the gravel a head of time?
