1st bike
Hello,
I just bought my first bike, a 1999. I put in a couple days riding already and I'm loving it. Although I've now been sidelined for a bit with bike problems. (see troubleshooting area). I'm in Dallas, Texas so if anyone else is nearby give a shout. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Work through all of your maintenance issues and eventually you will have a nice ride. Lots of good secondary roads to take for great day trips out of Dallas. Once she is roadworthy, take a trip down to Buffalo Gap and chow down on some of that great barbecue there and shoot some pool. Happy travels.

Welcome. The GZ ia great little bike. My late wife started riding in 2006 with a nearly new 2006 GZ and loved it. Lynda was 60 years young at the time and was a very good rider due to a good riding school and the very endearing qualities of the bike. It let her gain confidence and skills that lead her to a Suzuki 800 V-twin 3 seasons later.

That's what Lynda said too. After 3 seasons she had found the limits of the bike and desired more. A Suzuki M-50 filled all the needed requirements. Then she handed me a list of mods to complete her idea of her perfect bike.
