Problems? with Rotella T.

Hi it's me again so I started using Rotella T (15w-40) and things started changing in the bike. Like the bike doesn't take as long to warm up when choked, the engine has that popping sounds cars make when there warm (didn't do that before so not sure if it's normal or not) and the engine doesn't sound as smooth as before. Is there something wrong or have I finally gone insane?
