Hey all, new user here. I was recommended to check this site out by a reddit user (at reddit.com/r/motorcycles ), and I'm pretty impressed by how helpful and friendly it is here, where a genuine passion for machines is shared by all.

I signed up because, sigh, I've never even owned a bike before, money being the problem. So when I began to become bike-curious (nudge), and first clapped my eyes on the GZ250, I was overcome with the sort of lust that is normally reserved for my lady friend. Inspired by the beautiful remote hillside roads in central-to-northern Scotland, and by the new object of my desire, I resolved to one day pride myself on owning such a fine machine.

I signed up to the forum to learn as many tips and tricks, pointers, and absorb as much rider-wisdom as possible in anticipation of owning my first ride. I learn something new everyday I open a thread, so it seems like I have a long way to come! But it's something that I'd love to share with you all, if you'll indulge me.
