Stop and go traffic.
I was on Hwy 5 south, and the traffic was literally crawling. It was like 3-5 mph constantly. That was killing me. After 10 minutes of feathering the clutch to keep creeping along at that speed I could barely feel my left hand. It was numb, and there wasn't anything I could do about it. I couldn't let the clutch out, I couldn't put it into neutral, I couldn't just stop... because everyone was moving - people right behind you, people jumping into every gap, people changing lanes all over the place, and they're all creeping along at 5 mph.
So how do you deal with stop and go traffic like that? I'm thinking maybe next time I'm going to try lane splitting, which is legal here in CA. (edited: to reduce hyperbole) Login or Register to Remove Ads |
